DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Policy for OvOUwU

OvOUwU is committed to respecting and protecting the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.

This policy outlines our procedure for handling valid copyright infringement complaints (i.e., "Takedown Requests").

I. Infringement Notification (Takedown Request) Requirements

If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on their behalf, and you believe that any material hosted or linked on the OvOUwU website infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a notification to our Designated Agent.

To ensure your infringement notice is valid, it must be sent in writing to the Designated Agent listed below and substantially include all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If a single notification covers multiple copyrighted works, a representative list of such works may be provided.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material. The most effective way is to provide the exact URL link to the material.
4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider (i.e., us) to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate, and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Processing Time Commitment

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA infringement notice that meets all the requirements listed above, we will take action in accordance with the DMCA, which involves removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

We are committed to processing and responding to your request, following receipt of a valid notice, usually within 48 hours.

Please Note: If you are a content publisher and your content was removed, we recommend you contact us directly at admin[at]ovouwu[.]com to provide evidence supporting your right to publish. While we do not operate a formal counter-notice procedure, all removal decisions are final, but we may consider appeals based on reasonable errors under internal policy.
